Product Description Finally, a cost effective, energy saving programmable thermostat for baseboard, cable and ceiling heat. This thermostat features separate programs for weekdays and weekends with 4 settings per day. You can have the thermostat provide the temperature you want when you wake up and turn the heat down during the day when you leave the house, saving energy! The thermostat can also automatically bring the heat back up in the evening and offer yet another setting to keep you warm through the night as you sleep. Your custom settings start over each morning for energy savings day in and day out

LuxPro Programmable Line Voltage Thermostat February 28, 2010 Allen A. Mello This is an excellent product for Electric Line Voltage heat and temperature control of a residence.
Excellent price/Excellent functionality February 7, 2010 SPL We have radiant electric ceiling heat and, until we found this model on Amazon, previously had a hard time finding a digital/programmable line voltage thermostat anywhere (not commonly advertised, maybe?). We purchased 5 of these thermostats (and matching wall plates) earlier this year because of the listed features and the price. It was very worth it. Now, instead of analog thermostats that aren't precise, we've got programs set up and know exactly what the temp is at any time. Our energy bill went down a bit this month as well (nothing astonishing, but every bit counts). Very easy installation. We've since bought 3 more thermostat/wall plate combos to finish up the house. Simple and effective...not loud at all (in all bedrooms with no problems). Highly recommended if you have a line voltage system and are looking for affordability and good functionality.
Lux elv4 programmable thermostat February 2, 2010 Justin D. Mchugh (Virginia, United States) Hookup was fairly simple, programming was fairly simple to for the most part. It is a great product at a reasonable price, and works great too. Of course, I always give my best analysis of any type of product. The downfall of this product is that it requires two double A batteries to power the lcd screen on the front. The second down fall is the thermostat flashes between the time and temperature setting, there is no way to stop it from flashes or staying on one, or keeping both on at once. Not a huge deal, but when you have something constantly changing like that instead of one set fixed lcd it drains batteries faster over time, which is just common sense. Otherwise it is a great product, and I already have recommended it to friends and family being that I have two of them and they work great.
Easy to install and set! January 30, 2010 J. Hess This thermostat is very easy to install and even easier to set! Open the door on the bottom half and there is a dial you move to set the weekday programs, weekend programs, or time. Then you just push a couple of buttons turn the dial back to run and let the thermostat do it's thing! One piece of advice, when you buy this thermostat make sure you buy the trim piece that goes behind it. If you don't you will be able to see the cutout in the wall for the electrical box. This is a great thermostat. If you have baseboard heaters you will not be disappointed with this thermostat!
A great solution for space heaters January 28, 2010 K. Morgan I've owned several electric space heaters over the years. They all suffered from cheap, inaccurate, integrated thermostats. Of course, how accurate can a thermostat be that is located a few inches from the heating coils? The Lux Products ELV4 helps to solve this problem by allowing you to locate the thermostat further away from the heating or cooling device. The only thing that would make it better would be if it were wireless, thereby allowing the thermostat to control the heating or cooling device without actually being attached to it.
