Lux TX9100E 7 Day Universal Programmable Thermostat
Original item had bad data programmed into the MONDAY NITE temperature settings. Contacted LUX PRODUCTS technical service by email and received a flippant response from some moron, that there was no way that this problem could occur. I responded to his reply, and did not receive a response. Contacted amazon.com and they replaced the defective thermostat. AMAZON service was great, as usual. LUX PRODUCTS technical service was terrible.

The Lux programmable thermostat is fantastic. Easy to install, easy to program, easy to use. I was having trouble finding a programmable thermostat that worked with my electric heat pump but this thermostat can handle any system that is installed in your home. I have not received an electric bill since install, but I am sure the Lux will help by eliminating the guessing game of the temperature inside the house. I would highly recommend this product.

It's very easy to use. Even though I don't have 2-stage heating, it's cheaper than the touch-screen alternative I considered. The default programming has been convenient enough. Most importantly, the temperature in my house feels a lot more like the temperature shown on the display. I've yet to determine if there's any impact on my utility bill...
The Best Replacement for the Money April 13, 2010

This is the best for the buck. Sad to say, I bought this because it was alot larger than the others, and I needed to fill the hole over my last thermostat. I didn't realize we were getting such a great product. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a budget of $50 and wants an east install.
Remember, if you have a 4-stage like me you want to cross the green and yellow wires!
